The National philanthropy of Alpha Chi Omega is supporting survivors of domestic violence. Our efforts are important given that 1 out of 4 women will experience domestic violence during their lifetime.

At Cornell, we fundraise to benefit the Tompkins County Advocacy Center. The mission of the Tompkins County Advocacy Center is to reduce the trauma that results from domestic violence, sexual assault, and child sexual abuse.

Last year alone, we raised $5,400.

Pizza Pie with
Alpha Chi

Pizza Pie with Alpha Chi is a fun and satisfying way to raise funds for the Advocacy Center. At Pizza Pie with Alpha Chi, participants make their own personal pizza while listening to speakers from the Advocacy Center discuss the realities of domestic violence. All proceeds are donated to the Tompkins County Advocacy Center.

Run a 5k

in Their Shoes

The truism "you cannot really understand another person's experience until you have walked a mile in their shoes" inspired our Run a 5K in Their Shoes event, a playful opportunity for individuals to get outside while raising awareness and funds for the Advocacy Center.
